Immutable X and Gods Unchained now available globally

We’re excited to share that both Immutable X (IMX) and the Gods Unchained token (GODS) are now available for purchase globally!

Users worldwide can now buy IMX and GODS via MoonPay with Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards.

What is IMX?

IMX is the native utility token of Ethereum’s leading Layer 2 scaling solution for NFTs, Immutable X. Founded by Immutable in partnership with StarkWare and its bleeding-edge zk-rollup technology, Immutable X allows users to make instant trades, buy and sell fully carbon neutral NFTs, and interact with DApps, while ensuring zero ETH gas fees.

IMX is designed to accelerate the growth of Immutable X by incentivising protocol adoption and trading activity, and to reward those users and developers who contribute to building a scalable NFT ecosystem on Ethereum. 

The IMX token can be used to pay transaction costs, participate in protocol votes via governance, and earn a percentage of total network fees through staking. The platform also has a rewards system that allows users to receive additional IMX tokens just by performing activities on the network such as trading NFTs.

What is GODS?

Created in partnership with Gods Unchained Corporation, GODS is the native ERC-20 token of the Gods Unchained universe. GODS can be used to craft NFTs, purchase packs from the Gods Unchained marketplace and earn even more rewards by holding the tokens in Immutable X. GODS tokens also represent voting power, enabling players to participate in governance proposals that influence the game’s destiny. 

GODS is a token built into the core game system, becoming an integral part of Gods Unchained’s play-to-earn foundations. As a GODS owner, you can earn rewards through in-game and/or external avenues – it’s up to you.

CRAFTING NFTS

GODS tokens can be spent to fuse in-game cards into NFTs that are minted directly onto Immutable X. These cards are then tradable on Ethereum Layer 2, giving you complete ownership over your digital assets.

GODS gives the power to vote on the destiny of Gods Unchained. A core value of the project is that players should contribute to the future of the game and play an integral part in steering the ship as it develops. ACTIVE STAKING

Token holders who participate in governance initiatives while actively staking can earn rewards in GODS tokens, which will be distributed from the rewards pool. The token also works to expand the Gods Unchained economy through gameplay, as staking rewards can be earned by players who complete in-game campaigns.
