Ledger chooses MoonPay as its on-ramp
The integration expands the leading hardware wallet provider’s offerings through its Ledger Live app.

It’s a great day for anyone who uses Ledger! Today MoonPay becomes the premier buy option for crypto purchases in the Ledger Live app.
Ledger is a cryptocurrency security and infrastructure solutions company that designs state-of-the-art hardware wallets. These resilient wallets are widely considered to be the safest way to store crypto, a popular option for those who want full control over their private keys.
Launched in 2018, the company’s app, Ledger Live, is a platform for buying, exchanging, and lending crypto. With the MoonPay integration, users are given access to a wider range of cryptocurrencies and payment options than were previously available.

For example, while coins such as BTC and ETH were already available through Ledger Live, new tokens such as ALGO, ATOM, AXS, CHZ, MANA, and SAND are accessible thanks to MoonPay. And while payment options such as debit / credit card were already accepted, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay are new additions.

MoonPay is also helping Ledger to expand its geographical scope by onboarding users from countries such as Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Ukraine.
Ledger continues to add coins, NFTs and DApps into Ledger Live, and will soon be integrating new buy options and in-app features.
