We’re thrilled to introduce our new way to pay:  MoonPay Balance . Starting now, you can top up in Euros or British Pounds (depending on your region) and use it to buy crypto anytime. With your new balance, you can quickly sell one token and use the funds to purchase another—no more waiting for bank transfers! And, of course, you’re free to withdraw your balance to your bank whenever you choose.

This is a game-changer that makes the MoonPay trading experience smoother than ever, with ZERO MoonPay fees, enabling near-perfect acceptance rates. Gone are the days when you tried to buy your favorite crypto and your bank said “No”.

Getting started with MoonPay Balance is super easy: simply open the MoonPay App, click “Top up” and make a deposit via SEPA or SEPA Instant (remember to specify your unique payment reference). Then use your new Balance to buy crypto seamlessly, with the highest acceptance rates. Take advantage of the 0% MoonPay fee offer and see what MoonPay Balance can do for you!

New & Improved

• New account total value: Previously, users could only inspect the value of each wallet individually, making it hard to get a clear picture of their total assets. To solve this, we’ve introduced a new “Total Value” section in the app. This feature displays the combined value of all assets across your MoonPay accounts—including the new MoonPay Balance—all in a single number.
• New token spotlight: Our new feature highlights the latest top performing tokens, helping users make timely and informed purchases. Previously, this was limited to only a few tokens, but we plan to add more categories soon.
• Support for Flow (EVM): MoonPay now supports Flow (EVM) on the Ethereum blockchain, expanding our On-ramps offer.

We're excited to announce that we extended our “Pay to Card” feature, allowing everyone to sell crypto directly to a Visa or MasterCard debit card, giving you even more flexibility.

What's new? EU users can now sell crypto directly to Mastercard (in addition to Visa), while UK users can now cash out to both Visa and Mastercard for faster, more flexible payouts. This feature is available for debit cards only and offers a faster alternative to traditional bank transfers and PayPal. At MoonPay we have multiple options to fit your needs,  choose the payout method that works best for you!

This improvement means that selling your crypto to your debit card is instant—no more waiting up to three business days, as with traditional bank transfers. This added speed, however, does come with a slightly higher fee (more about our fees).

Our improved “Pay to Card” feature now puts the choice of speed vs cost in your hands. This feature will be available in France, Germany, Spain, and 21 other EU countries, as well as all users in the UK. Try it out next time you’re ready to collect some profits!

New & Improved

• Added support for Worldcoin: Worldcoin is now available on our On-ramps, making it easier for users to purchase WLD, on Worldchain, Ethereum, Optimism networks, directly through our platform.
• On-ramp and Off-ramp support for Ton and Solana assets: We added a ton of new assets. Quite literally. The new buy assets are HMSTR (Ton), BONK (Solana), JTO (Solana), HNT (Solana), MEW (Solana), RENDER (Solana), DRIFT (Solana), JUP (Solana), and RAY (Solana) for Global users. We’ve also enabled MANA (Etherum) for our USA customers. For sell, we’d add support for TON (Ton) and USDT_TON (Ton).
• Revamped business analytics: Our MoonPay Dashboard now offers improved insights based on the feedback we received from our partners. We allow you to track your success per product, country, payment method, demographics and much more — all to strengthen our partner relationships.
• MoonPay URL builder: A simple tool that allows any partner to easily experiment with widget parameters and generate the final widget URL, including the signature outputs.

New & Improved

• Ripple support: We’re excited to introduce Ripple’s new integration! Don’t have a Ripple wallet? No problem! You can store XRP right in your MoonPay account.
• Welcome screen for new users: New users are greeted with a set of screens that offer a friendly introduction to the app. One of the topics covered by these new screens is the KYC process, ensuring a smoother onboarding with clear steps to get verified and fully utilize the app.
• New “Learn More” section: We've introduced educational cards that guide users on what to do or learn next. These cards cover topics like making a first purchase, securing their account, and understanding key crypto concepts.

We hinted that something exciting was on the horizon.

We’ve completely revamped the Send feature, offering a native and seamless experience, directly within the MoonPay app — no more switching between the app and your browser.

We took this opportunity to also introduce a new design system, which you'll start seeing more throughout the app. You'll notice that the Send feature is now faster, more modern, and more intuitive.

Right now, you can use the new Send for:

• BTC
• SOL (Native)
• ETH (Mainnet) and other ERC-20 tokens
• XRP and RLUSD

And this is just the beginning. In the near future, we’ll be expanding support to include more EVM chains, aligning with those already available in the Buy flow.

New & Improved

• Your MoonPay account just got more secure: We've enhanced security with password protection and phone verification on your next login. This will replace the old email OTP code and is part of our ongoing effort to build trust and ensure greater protection for MoonPay users, with more updates to come.
• Better FAQ about fees and payment methods: We’ve added a FAQ link to the MoonPay Dashboard to address common questions such as “What fees does MoonPay charge?” and “What payment methods do you support?”
• Simplified onboarding for partners: Also on our MoonPay Dashboard, we’ve collapsed the account activation accordion, added numbered steps as a checklist, and placed it front and center to help our Partners easily see the next step.
• Migrated MATIC to POL: With Polygon's transition from MATIC to POL, we've updated our support to include POL (ERC-20) and POL (Polygon) assets for both U.S. and global regions.

We have something exciting on the horizon.

New & Improved

• Improved theming (Beta): We upgraded the theming feature in the new MoonPay Dashboard. Partners can now create and switch between multiple themes, offering greater customization flexibility.
• Support for Polygon NFTs: The MoonPay App now supports displaying NFTs from both Ethereum and Polygon. 
• Enhanced product documentation: We've completed the migration of our product documentation from v1 to v2. The updated documentation, which details our products, their features, and integration steps, is available on dev.moonpay.com.
• Pausing Web Account: We’re always working to make MoonPay better for you. As part of that, we’re making a few changes to the Web Account. During this upgrade, account.moonpay.com will be paused, but no worries! You can still manage your account and trade crypto easily in our app – it has everything you need. Prefer using the web? You can still make transactions on our Buy, Sell, and Swap pages. 
• Off-ramp support for MATIC: The MATIC token on Ethereum is now available on both our On and Off-ramp products. This means any user can now buy and sell MATIC (ERC-20). 
• Support for USDT on Arbitrum: Users can now buy and sell USDT on Arbitrum. With this update, our Ramps products support the four major assets on Arbitrum (ETH, USDC, USDT, MAGIC). 
• Upgraded login flow: We've given our login a modern redesign, making it not only more visually appealing but also easier to use. And this is just the beginning :)
• MoonPay accounts getting more secure: Over the next few weeks, your MoonPay accounts will get password and two factor authentication to better protect your funds. 
• New Swaps overview screen: A new "Swaps Overview" tab was added to the MoonPay Dashboard. There you will find data and charts about your volume and transactions. We also fixed some bugs to improve the onboarding experience, and, starting now, we always enable ETH in the sandbox to make it easier to test their integration in sandbox mode.
• Olá Brasil: We’ve localized our new homepage to Brazilian Portuguese.
