Shiba Inu now available globally

Shiba Inu launched in August 2020 as a meme coin inspired by Dogecoin. If the logo looks familiar, that’s because the two cryptocurrencies use the same dog breed, the Japanese Shiba Inu, as their mascot.
During its launch, 50% of the Shiba Inu supply was sent to Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum. He then famously donated 10% of his SHIB holdings ($1 billion at the time) to Covid-19 relief efforts in India, and burned the rest forever.
With 40% of the supply burnt, Shiba Inu ranks 11th by market cap at more than $37 billion. At just fractions of a cent, $SHIB has experienced a meteoric price increase of more than 60,000,000% since it launched a little over a year ago, going from a meme token to a full DeFi ecosystem. The coin has also soared in popularity thanks to several Elon Musk Twitter interactions with the very active Shiba community.
